American Roulette

American Roulette is a game of chance that is played by bouncing a small round ball onto a spinning wheel. When the wheel stops, the ball comes to rest in one of the numbered slots or pockets. On Wild Jack, you can play American for real money or just for fun.

What makes American Roulette different than other variations of roulette is that the American Roulette wheel has thirty-eight numbers, including 1 to 36, a 0 ("zero") and a 00 ("double zero"). Another name for American Roulette is "Double Zero Roulette".

How to Play American Roulette

The goal in a game of American Roulette is to guess which number the ball will fall on as it spins on the wheel. After the player places his bet on the table, the dealer releases a small ball on to the spinning wheel (in the opposite direction of the spin). The ball ultimately stops in one of the numbered pockets of the wheel and the player has to predict which one it will falls on. If the bouncing ball lands on the color, number or combination of numbers that you have bet on, you`ve won and, depending on the type of bet, your wager is returned to you a different rates depending on the type of bet you`ve placed and the odds of that particular kind of bet wining.

There are two main types of bets in American Roulette. They are called inside bets and outside bets. An inside bet is when the player bets on any roulette number from 0-36 (corresponding to the number on the pockets of the wheel). And outside bet is placed outside the table layout and is placed on colors (red or black) or on combinations of numbers.
